Powerpix will run a number of short film making workshops for secondary level students in 2013.
Groups can range from 10 to 50 plus students. Students can shoot a number of short films of typically 2- 8 minutes duration. Or they can produce one longer feature length video which would be typically 15-30 minutes long.
Areas that can be covered in the workshops include:
Introduction to digital film making, script writing, using digital cameras and audio equipment, lighting, setting up a shoot, digital editing and DVD production.
Each student gets a copy of the finished films with a custom designed DVD menu.
Any number of the above areas can be covered in a workshop. You can decide which will best for your students and we are happy to accommodate. A workshop typically lasts anything from 3-5 days depending on the numbers of students involved. Prices vary depending on travel costs, number of days shooting and editing. Please contact us now and we would be happy to discuss all the details.
